How this site is built to be usable

We sell to school districts and public agencies, which means this site has to be usable by everyone who works there. We treat that as a build requirement rather than an afterthought.

01

The standard we build to

This site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We aim to conform in full. Where we fall short we would rather hear about it and fix it than discover it in a procurement review.

02

What we actually do

Measures taken
AreaWhat we do
StructureSemantic HTML with proper landmarks and heading order, so screen reader navigation works without guessing.
KeyboardEverything interactive is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that is never removed. A skip link jumps past the header on every page.
Colour contrastContrast ratios are computed and asserted in our automated test suite rather than judged by eye. A change that drops below the threshold fails the build.
Colour independenceColour is never the only way information is conveyed. Status and emphasis always carry a text label or a shape difference as well.
FormsEvery field has a real label. Errors are announced, tied to their field programmatically, and stated in words as well as colour.
MotionWe honour the reduced-motion setting. If your system asks for less movement, this site gives you less movement.
TestingAutomated accessibility tests run against every page on every change, and we test keyboard-only navigation by hand before release.
03

Known limitations

We publish these rather than wait to be asked. This site is new, and this list will be kept current as it grows: at present there are no known outstanding conformance issues, and any that are reported will be listed here with a target date until they are resolved.

04

Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site prevents you from doing something, tell us and we will fix it. Email accessibility@endofthelandline.com with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to give you a fix or a timeline within ten.

If you need information from this site in another format in order to evaluate or purchase our service, ask and we will provide it.
